Watercolors by Ruthie Oland-Stuckey

Please join us on Friday, August 30, from 5:15 to 7 p.m. for the opening reception. Works will be on display at Artspace from August 26 through Sept 20.

Ruthie Oland-Stuckey’s watercolor paintings feature landscapes, fruits, branches, and other elements from nature.  Her style takes inspiration from the Japanese watercolor masters –as taught to her by Bill Lambert at Snow Farm.  Ruthie’s work features a combination of hand-mixed warm and cool colors, and white space, in which she strives to create a balance of easeful movement and stillness.
