Create a Movie with Pictures!
August 7th - 11th, 9-12pm, Ages 7-12
Animation, story writing, digital art
Develop a story with your group through theater games. Draw the characters, places, and what happens in the story. Through a simple movie program, let your instructor show you how to move through pictures while narrating the story. End up with an animated movie made by the group. Bring a flash drive and take your movie home with you at the end of the session!
Acrylic Paint Pouring with Jill Leger
August 12th, 1 - 2:30pm - All ages are welcome!
Come hang with Jill Leger of Mind’s Eye Art this Summer in the Artspace Backyard! $20 covers the class and all materials needed!
Fluid art, or acrylic paint pouring, is an art technique that uses thin acrylic paint that is poured onto a canvas! There are many ways to pour on a canvas and a variety of techniques as well. There are methods that produce organic results and methods that are more intentional.

All ages and skill levels are welcome, it's perfect for the whole family!

Classes will take place outdoors, in the Artspace Backyard, if the weather permits it!

Come between 1-2:30 pm to create your own, original acrylic painting. You will be able to take your artwork home the same day

Each class runs for approximately 1.5 hours and has an organic structure - stay as long as you like.

The class registration covers teaching and all art materials needed to create an acrylic pour painting

Monte's March 2023
Tuesday, November 21st, we are marching with Monte!
Join Artspace and our Mini-March as we raise funds marching around Downtown Greenfield, cheering on Monte's crew as they pass through town! WSRI 93.9 The River's Monte Belmonte, Congressman Jim McGovern, & Food Bank Executive Director Andrew Morehouse on a 43-mile march from Springfield to Greenfield. to make moves towards ending hunger in Western Massachusetts. For Every dollar raised the Foodbank of Wester Massachusetts provides 4 healthy meals to families in need!
Thank you everyone for supporting our mini-march on November 22nd, 2022! Artspace raised a total of $747 by the end of the night to give to Monte’s crew, which equates to at least 2988 meals provided by the Western Mass Foodbank for our community! We are feeling extra grateful for our Artspace team and we cannot wait for Monte's March #14!
Annual Artspace Market
2024 ARTSPACE MARKET: April 6th, Snowday April 7th
Saturday, April 22nd, 2023 was our 44th annual fundraising market and it was a smash!
Previously known as the Pottery Seconds Sale, the Artspace Market was held this year at Greenfield High School. Many of you know that we had to reschedule our original March 4th date due to that awful snowstorm, shutting down the majority of the valley and all of the public school buildings. We had no idea what sort of turnout we would have for our rescheduled date, but boy, did our community not disappoint us!
